Ok so I didn’t expect to be saying this about a Republican but Tom actually did something good here. He pushed for better funding for healthcare worker training programs and that’s HUGE for my folks in Michigan. Like seriously we need more people taking that kind of stand, especially with the staffing shortages everywhere. I don’t love some of his other votes (he still leans way too hard into his party sometimes 🙄) but man credit where it’s due. This is the kind of support we need for workers.
