These Terms of Service govern your use of the PowerPlayers civic ratings platform. By accessing or using PowerPlayers, you agree to these terms.
Acceptable Use
You may use PowerPlayers to rate and review elected officials, discover political challengers, and participate in civic engagement. You may not submit false ratings, impersonate officials, manipulate scores through coordinated activity, or use the platform for commercial spam.
Ratings and Reviews
Ratings reflect genuine citizen opinion. PowerPlayers reserves the right to remove ratings that violate community guidelines, are submitted by bots, or represent coordinated manipulation. Ratings are aggregated using a Bayesian weighted model to resist gaming.
Campaign Contributions
Campaign contributions processed through PowerPlayers are subject to FEC regulations. Contributions are limited by applicable federal law. By contributing, you certify you are a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident.
Limitation of Liability
PowerPlayers is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for decisions made based on platform ratings or content. Official information is sourced from public records and may not reflect the most current data.
