He talks a big game about education but I don’t see much change. Kids still need better funding and support. He’s okay I guess just could do way better.
Greg has been solid on some things but frustrating on others. I like how he handles the economy and keeps taxes relatively low. That directly impacts my work, and I respect that. But I don’t feel like he’s always transparent about what’s going on in Austin. Why is it so hard to get clear answers on energy policy? He’s effective when he focuses on big issues, but sometimes it feels like he’s playing to the base more than solving problems. Still, he’s done more good than harm overall.
Greg's doing decent on some things but healthcare in TX is still a mess. He's pushed for some reforms that look good on paper but they don't seem to actually help people who need it most. I do think he's been accessible and transparent which matters a lot in leadership. He's definitely focused on his constituents more than some other governors I've seen. But the lack of meaningful improvements in healthcare keeps me from fully backing him. Overall he's better than many but still has work to do.
